This role sits at the heart of the organization's cybersecurity function, focusing on improving its ability to anticipate, detect, and respond to evolving threats. You'll be working in a mature environment where proactive security, continuous improvement, and collaboration are key priorities.
🔍 Your main responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring, analyzing, and triaging security alerts across multiple platforms
- Enhancing threat detection capabilities through tuning and optimization of existing tools (SIEM / EDR)
- Supporting incident response activities and contributing to post-incident analysis
- Driving readiness initiatives, including simulations, tabletop exercises, and process improvements
- Collaborating closely with SOC, Incident Response, IT, and Risk teams
- Contributing to threat intelligence efforts and proactive threat hunting when needed
💡 Your profile:
- Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or incident response
- Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools (SIEM, EDR, or similar technologies)
- Good understanding of modern threat landscapes, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques
- Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize and respond under pressure
- A proactive approach with a strong interest in cyber resilience and continuous improvement
