Our client, a growing boutique public relations agency specializing in B2B technology, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative companies across high-impact sectors including security, AI, enterprise technology, and fintech.

This is an ideal role for a proactive, media-savvy communications professional who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and is ready to take ownership of client relationships and program execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day client communications and serve as a trusted partner on account execution
  • Develop and implement strategic media relations programs across top-tier, trade, and vertical press
  • Proactively pitch and secure media coverage, thought leadership opportunities, and speaking engagements
  • Draft and edit press releases, media materials, bylines, and client messaging
  • Manage multiple accounts simultaneously, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and industry influencers
  • Support junior team members through mentorship and guidance
  • Contribute to account strategy, reporting, and campaign planning

Qualifications

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in public relations, with a strong focus on B2B technology
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following sectors: cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, enterprise software, or fintech
  • Proven track record of securing meaningful media coverage and managing press relationships
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment with a collaborative team

Location

  • Must be based in California
  • Strong preference for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area
