Our CSR Efforts

Huxley takes part in a wide range of CSR initiatives and programs with a vision to transform lives through skills and work. We’re proud of our strong philanthropic history in partnership with our global parent company, the SThree Group. This has been developed over the years to strategically align with the Group’s commercial strategy and incorporate our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) expertise.

The central theme for our global CSR activity is employability and aspiration. Our approach best utilizes our core recruitment expertise, skills, and networks to help people from underprivileged backgrounds into work. The SThree Foundation further enriches our goal. Launched in 2016, the SThree Foundation supports bright young people from underprivileged and diverse backgrounds into the STEM industries. Learn more by watching our video below.

We encourage all our teams to lead community initiatives and projects in order to cultivate their personal and professional development. From sports tournaments and charity events, to dress down days and personal challenges we’ve raised over £900k for SOS Children's Villages, which has consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. Our fundraising efforts keep us on track to reach our £1m target in time for our 10th anniversary in 2018.

As part of our partnership with SOS Children’s Villages, we’re proud to have supported a range of activities. These include advancing the education in Chipata with investments in locally made computer tablets with solar panels for charging, and donating sports and playground equipment. We provided funding for over 60 SOS Mothers and Aunts to attend the National Training Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We also provided funding towards school fees and medical provision for 80 children in Qodsaya, Syria, and a school bus in Bhimtal, India, to help get children to school safely.
