You will be working within the Mortgage domain, you will join a multidisciplinary Agile squad focused on delivering reliable, scalable, and customer-centric mortgage application solutions.
Responsibilities
- Functional and application maintenance of mortgage application systems.
- Develop and maintain automated regression test suites using Java, BDD, and Selenium.
- Test and deploy software releases.
- Support users of mortgage application platforms.
- Build and maintain deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Improve release automation and operational efficiency.
- Performance tuning, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain virtual test environments and automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the mortgage chain and system integrations.
- Review and improve technical and operational documentation.
- Participate in production deployments and on-call rotations.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in financial applications and mortgage products.
- Experience implementing financial software packages.
- Expert-level test automation experience.
- Strong API testing experience.
- Experience building virtual test environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Docker.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban environments.
- Monitoring and observability experience, including Azure Insights and OpenTelemetry.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to investigate issues deep into .NET application layers.
- Excellent Dutch and English communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Linux and Windows operations and automation experience.
- Java development experience, preferably Spring Boot.
- CI/CD optimization expertise.
- Grafana and Kibana monitoring experience.
- Corporate enterprise environment experience.
- Security monitoring experience.
- Development experience in .NET and/or Java.
Additional Information
- Location: Amsterdam area (hybrid, 2 days onsite per week).
- Evening production deployment participation approximately once every 6 weeks.
- 24/7 standby service approximately once every 10 weeks (compensated).
