As Freelance Senior Change Manager, you will lead the change portfolio and strategy for a complex Tech Enablement programme. You will manage one of the organisation's most significant technical transformations, providing a clear path for new ways of working and architectural evolution. You will act as the strategic counterpart to the Portfolio TPM and Tech VPs, applying change frameworks to accelerate delivery rather than create administrative bottlenecks.

- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (+)
- Rate: 140 per hour
- Design and own the end‑to‑end change roadmap for the Tech Enablement portfolio, ensuring alignment between technical milestones and organisational readiness.
- Run the change governance process and act as a trusted advisor and sounding board for Portfolio and Pillar TPMs and Engineering VPs.
- Influence and enable VP‑ and SVP‑level leadership to lead the change, providing candid feedback and a transparent perspective on programme risks.
- Implement right‑sized change management methodologies that provide rigour and visibility without becoming overly process‑driven.
- Work with communications counterparts to translate complex strategic information into one clear and compelling narrative for the engineering community.
- Identify and manage complex dependencies across multiple initiatives, breaking down major roadblocks into actionable solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of change managers dedicated to executing the Tech Enablement portfolio strategy.
- At least 10 years of change management experience leading large‑scale organisational and portfolio‑level transformations.
- Experience leading change for large, global engineering populations of 2,000+ developers.
- Proven experience with DevOps, cloud or architectural transformations.
- Strong ability to bring structure to complex, ambiguous and fast‑moving environments, with a clear bias for action and outcomes.
- Solid understanding of technology environments, including SDLC, Agile methodologies and modern architectural principles such as microservices and decoupling.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a strong track record of influencing VP‑ and SVP‑level leaders.
- Highly data‑driven, able to use insights and KPIs to support executive decision‑making at portfolio level.
- Comfortable operating in environments with high complexity, shifting scope and slow or difficult decision‑making.
