As Freelance Change Lead, you will support the planning and execution of change activities that drive successful adoption of transformation initiatives. Working as part of an agile change team, you will partner closely with the Senior Change Manager, transformation leads, agile coaches, learning partners and business stakeholders.
Location: Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Start date: As soon as possible, with an initial duration of six months.
- Support the Change Manager in translating the overall change strategy into clear, audience-focused communication and engagement plans.
- Identify change impacts across leaders, managers and teams, and reflect these insights in communication, engagement and readiness activities.
- Contribute to stakeholder analysis, readiness planning and local tailoring of the wider transformation approach.
- Develop and coordinate communication and engagement activities across all transformation phases, including readiness, launch, reinforcement and early embedding.
- Support the delivery of leadership briefings, manager cascades, information sessions, kick-offs, training communications and ongoing engagement moments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure communication and engagement activities are timely, consistent and aligned with the wider transformation plan.
- Monitor engagement, sentiment and change risks, and recommend adjustments based on feedback, resistance signals and adoption indicators.
- Support the preparation of senior leadership and management communications, ensuring managers are clear on their role in the change and equipped with practical, fit-for-purpose messages.
- You bring strong experience in change management, communications and stakeholder engagement within complex transformation initiatives.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are able to make complex, technical or strategic topics clear and relevant for different audiences.
- You have experience working in cross-functional, agile or transformation environments and are comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on in execution.
- You are structured, pragmatic and proactive, with strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, and you are comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
