E-Trading Java Developer
Join a global Fixed Income technology team responsible for building and enhancing electronic trading platforms across Rates and Credit markets. Working closely with traders, sales, and technology teams across Asia, Europe, and North America, you will develop high-performance, low-latency trading solutions that support both client and dealer-facing electronic trading businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Java-based electronic trading and execution platforms.
- Build scalable, low-latency solutions supporting trader workflow automation.
- Collaborate with traders, business stakeholders, and global development teams to deliver high-impact technology solutions.
- Contribute to platform modernization, system integration, and cross-product initiatives.
- Participate in Agile development, code reviews, testing, and production support.
- Drive delivery of robust, reliable, and high-performing trading applications.
Requirements
- Strong Java development experience, including multithreading and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of Git, Maven, and modern software development practices.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Java applications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in Fixed Income, Rates, Credit, or Capital Markets technology.
- Electronic trading experience in D2C or D2D environments.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol, pricing, risk, or bond analytics.
- Experience with .NET or JavaScript for UI development.
- English communication skills in a global environment.
