Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise application and solution architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Establish target architectures, technology roadmaps, architecture standards, and governance frameworks.
• Lead and mentor a team of Solution Architects while promoting architecture best practices across the organization.
• Partner with business leaders, technology teams, and executive stakeholders to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Drive application portfolio optimization, modernization, and simplification initiatives.
• Evaluate technology solutions for architectural alignment, scalability, performance, security, and long-term business value.
• Promote adoption of cloud-native, API-first, microservices, and reusable architecture patterns.
• Support large-scale digital transformation and enterprise technology programs across multiple business functions.
• Collaborate with global architecture, security, infrastructure, data, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Application Architecture leadership roles.
• Strong experience designing and governing solutions across AWS and on-premise environments.
• Proven track record developing architecture strategies, roadmaps, standards, and governance models.
• Experience supporting global organizations and enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
• Experience optimizing application portfolios and aligning technology investments with business strategy.
• Business-level English communication skills, including facilitation, presentation, and executive engagement.

Preferred

• Experience leading Architecture, Engineering, or Technology teams.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Transformation, Application Modernization, and Digital Transformation programs.
• Experience with API-First Architecture, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Enterprise Integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle including design, implementation, deployment, and support.
• Knowledge of TOGAF, architecture governance, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Japanese language capability and experience working in a multinational environment.
• Background in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Retail, Telecommunications, or other large enterprise environments.
