Senior Technical Project Manager (HR Technology) | Barcelona (Hybrid)

For one of our top clients in Barcelona, we are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join a long-term global HR Technology transformation program. The role combines project leadership, solution architecture, and HRIS expertise, with a strong focus on Workday, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and complex system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of global HR technology projects and system implementations.
• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders across HR, Payroll, and IT.
• Design and oversee integration architectures involving Workday and third-party platforms.
• Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, milestones, and governance activities.
• Support multi-country rollouts and complex data exchange ecosystems.
• Act as the main point of contact between business and technical teams.
• Ensure successful execution of testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience managing complex enterprise technology projects.
• Strong experience with Workday and HRIS environments.
• Functional knowledge of Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Rewards, and Performance Management.
• Experience leading global implementations and multi-country deployments.
• Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, middleware, data flows, and enterprise architecture.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing high-level architectures using the C4 Model.
• Background in HR technology transformation programs.
• Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar).
• Experience with SSO and identity management initiatives.
