Junior Product Developer - Fashion

For one of our clients active within the fashion retail, we are currently looking for a Jr Product Developer focusing on Footwear & Accessories.

As the Jr Product Developer, you will support the Outlet Product Development team in ensuring that all product development activities are managed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Maintaining the PLM System (Product Management Software) and ensuring it is aligned with the Collection Line list on all production information areas;
• Maintaining the BOMs (Bill of Materials) for all styles;
• Supporting in sample management: keeping a record/track of received samples and chasing up on late samples with vendors, including photo-shoot sample requests/tracking as well as sending and receiving parcels;
• Daily email communication with vendors/Buying Offices (BOs) on product-related subjects;
• Daily communication with our International Market buyers to ensure product requirements are clear and followed up on accurately;
• Checking and providing feedback on prototypes, Pre-Production samples (PPS), lab-dips, and strike-offs to ensure they meet our requirements; following up with vendors;
• Keeping close contact with the Buying team on product updates and developments.

Profile:

• Background in garment production, processes, and systems, either from school or work experience;
• Precise, accurate, and efficient work habits;
• Proactive, initiative-driven, and good communication skills for daily contact with Buying offices, vendors, and other department teams;
• Higher textile education;
• Working experience or internship in development/sourcing/production of apparel;
• Flexible and a team player;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe;
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Combined with these experiences

• Experience in maintaining and updating product management systems;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Attention to detail in checking and providing feedback on product samples;
• Ability to handle frequent communication with international stakeholders.

• Salary indication: € (based on experience)
