Our client, a well established medical communications agency, is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a scientific writer who enjoys translating complex clinical data into compelling, accurate, and impactful communications for healthcare professional audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop a variety of medical and scientific communications materials, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, congress materials, and publication plans.
- Interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data with accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate closely with account teams, clients, and subject matter experts.
- Ensure scientific content meets strategic objectives, publication standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in literature reviews and data analysis to support publication development.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree preferred.
- Prior experience within a medical communications, publications, or healthcare advertising agency environment is required.
- Strong publication writing experience, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and congress-related deliverables.
- Oncology experience highly preferred.
- Exceptional scientific writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced agency setting.
