HSE Passport

In order to achieve legal compliance and satisfy duty of care obligations, many companies require evidence that contractors have completed basic health, safety and environment (HSE) training prior to beginning an assignment. This can help to avoid any potential liability should a contractor become injured, or cause an injury while working on their premises...

Huxley has signed a partnership agreement with HSE Passport to offer our UK-based contractors and UK-registered contractors working abroad, simple, fast, and affordable access to occupational health, safety, and environmental training at a competitive rate. Contractors who are members of the HSE Passport scheme are more attractive to employers.

How does the HSE Passport work?

The HSE Passport helps to manage risk by providing confirmation to an employer that a worker has successfully completed training in basic health, safety, and environmental matters.

It gives you a unique identification card that’s evidence of successfully completing the health, safety, and environment training. This card will have a picture of the contractor, a unique contractor number and comes complete with a holder and lanyard. The online training is interactive, engaging and takes between 30 to 40 minutes. It contains the following modules:

• Emergencies
• Workplace safety
• Use of DSE
• Employee health (trips, slips and lifting)
• Personal safety
• Driving safety
• Environmental issues
