Technical Lead H&S Solutions

The Technical Lead - H&S Solutions is responsible for the evolution, delivery, and operational performance of digital solutions supporting Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) processes.

This role acts as a bridge between business and IT, combining technical leadership with solution ownership to ensure scalable, secure, and business-aligned platforms. The position also involves coordinating external teams and driving continuous improvement across HSE applications.

2) Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of HSE applications (design, development, deployment, and maintenance)
• Act as the main IT point of contact for HSE stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions
• Drive solution design and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and best practices
• Manage and coordinate offshore development teams and external vendors
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, security standards, and HSE regulations
• Oversee application performance, stability, and continuous improvement
• Manage Change Requests, releases, and documentation for assigned applications
• Support prioritisation of initiatives based on business needs and impact
• Identify and implement improvements, including the adoption of new technologies (e.g. AI)

3) Requirements

• Strong experience in IT application delivery, development, and maintenance in complex environments
• Solid background in solution architecture and system integration
• Experience managing offshore teams and external partners
• Knowledge of HSE (Health & Safety) processes is highly desirable
• Technical expertise in:
  • REST APIs, OData
  • Programming languages (Java, PHP, SQL, HTML)
  • Web / mobile frameworks and UI/UX principles
  • Relational databases and data modelling
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluency in English (professional level)
