SAP FI Consultant

We're looking for a SAP FI Consultant for one of our key international clients at Huxley. This is a freelance remote position with occasional visits to Barcelona.

Details of the position:

• Role: SAP FI Consultant
• Start date: Early June 2026
• Duration: 8 months
• Location: 100% remote (preferrably in Barcelona)

• Key requirements:

• +5 years of experience with SAP FI (FA, AP, AR, GL, etc.)
• Knowledge of master data integration between FI, MM, and SD modules
• Experience working with financial interfaces
• Fluency in English is essential
• Experience working with teams across different time zones
• Experience in e-invoicing projects

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP VIM
• Additional languages (German or others) are a plus

Skills & Competencies

• Configuration of SAP FI (general ledger, accounts payable and receivable), adapting the system to each country
• Participation in international rollouts, localizing a global template to meet country-specific requirements
• Coordination with teams across different countries to gather needs and validate financial processes
• Collaboration with other modules (MM and SD) to ensure smooth end-to-end financial flows
• Monitoring and resolving issues related to interfaces and external systems
• Support around e-invoicing and compliance with local financial regulations
• Involvement in testing phases during project implementations (user testing and validations)
• Handling day-to-day support tasks, resolving issues and assisting with month-end closing processes
