SAP CO Consultant

We are looking for an SAP CO / FI Consultant to support a global S/4HANA transformation program within a leading international organization.
The selected professional will be responsible for driving pre‑migration activities in SAP ECC, mainly within the CO module, to ensure data readiness and alignment with the future S/4HANA target model.

You will be part of a global finance and controlling transformation initiative, working closely with business and IT stakeholders to guarantee technical quality, consistency and a smooth transition to S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform pre‑migration activities in SAP ECC, mainly in CO‑PC, to simplify and prepare the system for S/4HANA migration.

* Analyze and adapt product costing structures and controlling data to align with S/4HANA requirements.

* Work extensively with CO‑PC (Product Costing) and CCA (Cost Center Accounting) within complex SAP landscapes.

* Collaborate with FI, MM and PP teams to ensure end‑to‑end integration across modules.

* Participate in migration, implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring data quality and functional consistency.

* Support stakeholders with functional analysis, impact assessments and solution proposals.

* Work within an international environment, following defined governance and delivery processes.

Requirements

* 8+ years of experience in SAP CO and FI, with a strong focus on Controlling (CO represents ~80% of the role).
* Proven hands‑on expertise in CO‑PC (Product Costing) and CCA.
* Solid experience working with SAP ECC systems.
* Participation in at least 3-4 SAP migration, implementation or upgrade projects.
* Experience in integrated SAP environments (CO-FI-MM-PP).
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Fluent English (mandatory).

Nice to Have

* Experience with CO‑PA (Profitability Analysis) or margin analysis.
* Exposure to data migration or large system transformation programs.
* Experience in agile or DevOps‑oriented environments.
* Spanish and/or French is a plus.

Conditions

* Work mode: 100% remote (with 2 on‑site visits per month in Barcelona - priority - or Budapest or Grenoble).
* Start date: ASAP.
