For one of our key clients, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join a strategic greenfield initiative focused on building a modern end-to-end data platform in the healthcare environment, integrating clinical systems and enabling real-time and event-driven capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines (Databricks, ADF)
- Develop data ingestion from APIs and streaming sources
- Build event-driven / near real-time data solutions
- Transform and model data for analytics use cases
- Ensure data quality, observability and reliability
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams
- Apply best practices (CI/CD, testing, code reviews)
- Ensure governance, security and compliance standards
- Participate in architecture decisions and mentoring
Required Skills
- 4-5 years of experience as Data Engineer
- Strong experience with Azure & Databricks
- Advanced knowledge of PySpark
- Strong SQL skills (large-scale environments)
- Experience with Snowflake / Redshift or similar
- Experience with Spark or big data processing
- Professional level of English
Position Details
- Duration: 6 months (+ extension)
- Full time - 40 hours per week
- Start date: ASAP
- Location: Barcelona (Hybrid)
