Speech Recognition Expert

Huxley are currently seeking a highly skilled contractor with advanced expertise in machine learning and deep
learning, specifically in the fields of acoustic and speech recognition and analysis. The ideal
candidate will have substantial experience working on military projects, such as those with
known global organizations or similar parties, and possess deep knowledge of handling highnoise
audio files from various communication sources, including radio communications, walkietalkies,
and air traffic control tower communications, and generating their transciprions with high
degrees of speech recognition accuracy. This role involves developing and implementing
sophisticated models for noise reduction and accurate speech-to-text transcription within the
context of military applications and offline deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
* Model Development: Design, develop, and implement machine learning and deep
learning models for acoustic and speech recognition tailored to high-noise environments.
The models should accurately transcribe speech to text.

* Noise Reduction: Develop advanced noise reduction algorithms to enhance the clarity
and intelligibility of audio communications, focusing on typical noise types such as static,
interference, overlapping signals, and environmental noise.

* Speech Identification: Ensure the models can accurately identify human speech amidst
high levels of background noise.

* Audio Analysis: Process and analyze audio data from radio communications, walkietalkies,
and air traffic control tower communications to improve speech recognition
accuracy.

* Integration: Collaborate with the AI Department to integrate developed models into
existing military communication systems.

* Research: Stay updated with the latest advancements in acoustic and speech recognition
technologies and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems.

* Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of models to ensure
reliability and effectiveness in high-noise conditions.

* Collaboration: Work closely with military personnel to understand specific
requirements, constraints, and use cases.

* Reporting: Provide detailed reports and documentation on model performance,
algorithm development, and project progress.

* Optimization: Continuously optimize and fine-tune models for performance, accuracy,
and efficiency in real-time deployment scenarios.
