Summer projects are kicking in as one of my clients, a global leader in the Medical Device industry, is looking for an After-Sales professional that can build and optimize the entire after-sales ecosystem for their high-tech consumer product sold directly to customers.

Expectations:

• Design, manage, and lead international after-sales projects in a direct-to-consumer (D2C) setup from concept through implementation within a high-tech consumer product environment.
• Develop and optimize processes for returns, warranty handling, product inspection, and customer issue resolution, including remote troubleshooting workflows.
• Define and implement target operating models for customer support and service centers, including location/footprint strategy and make-or-buy (in-house vs. outsourcing) assessments.
• Ensure end-to-end integration of after-sales and replacement order processes.
• Prepare and present management-level decision proposals covering process design, organizational setup, and required system/infrastructure investments.

Profile:

• Degree (Master's preferred) in Business, Supply Chain or a related field
• Proven track record in project management and business/process development within a consumer-focused or D2C environment, ideally including after-sales or customer support operations (ideally +5 years)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior leadership
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of adaptability, resilience, and ability to work in dynamic environments
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage

Start: ASAP in full-time
Duration: 12 months via temporary employment (with possible extension and/or permanent hire)
Location: Baden-Württemberg; 60% onsite / 40% remote (flexible arrangement after onboarding)
